There are two other sets of Handicapping Profiles that can be used at any time for races at Belmont. These profiles all share the profile naming convention:

ds = dirt sprint
dr = dirt route

ts = turf sprint
tr = turf route
in-tr = inner turf route
os = off track sprint
or = off track route

MRA Default Profiles:

There are three profiles for each race type including separate profiles for maiden and non-maiden races: Here is how to interpret the dirt sprint MRA Default profiles:

m1: ds
m1: ds early
m1: ds late
Does not consider pace.
Favors early running horses.
Favors late running horses.

MRA Pace Profiles:

Again, there are separate sets of profiles for each race type including separate profiles for maiden and non-maiden races: They are further refined to the specific Race Pace Shape being run. Here is how to select the correct profile for a race.

Fast
Lone
Honest
Slow
Use for fast pace races (ESP = “EEE” and “EE”).
Use for races with lone early runners (ESP = “E” and “EP and “EP-P”).
Use for honest pace races (ESP = “E-EP” and “EP-EP”).
Use for slow paced races (ESP: All other not listed above).

Reminder: You can use three different profiles for handicapping a race. ALL-Ways will handicap the race three times and show you the results for each profile used. A very effective way to use the three profile capability on Belmont Stakes weekend is as follows:

Profile Position #1
Profile Position #2
Profile Position #3
Use the appropriate special Belmont Stakes weekend profile
Use the appropriate MRA Pace Profile
Use the appropriate non-pace MRA Default
