Troubleshooting: Invalid Property message at Handicapping Time?

This is a printer font problem and is easily fixed. ALL-Ways uses the Courier New printer font. This is a True Type Font that is always delivered with Windows software. If you get the font problem message, chances are that you are using the wrong print driver. This is very easy to check and to correct. You can determine if this is the problem by starting up the Write program that comes with Windows or any modern word processing software. Try to change the font that is in use and see if the Courier New font is in the font list. If it is not there, you will either need to change the printer driver or you will need to install the Courier New fonts.

To change the printer driver, click on the "PRINT MANAGER" icon in the Main Program Group in Program Manager. Now, select a different print driver from the list that you think may work with your printer. For example, if you have a laser printer, use one of the HP LaserJet drivers. You can test if the change has fixed the problem by looking for the Courier New font in the font list of a word processor program.

If the printer driver is not the problem, it means that, for some reason, the Courier New fonts have not been installed or have been erased from your system. ALL you need to do is install the fonts using your Windows setup program. You can also contact Frandsen Publishing and we will send the fonts to you.
