FAQ # 53
ALL-WaysTM Support
Alert: Automatic race results when races scheduled for the turf course are moved to a dirt track that is NOT "muddy" or "sloppy".
The Flash Results file does not tell us if the race was moved off the turf onto the dirt. However, ALL-Ways is generally able to figure this out by using the track condition information and make the change in the Race Database. If, however, the race was moved off of the turf onto the dirt and the dirt track was NOT listed as "muddy" or as "sloppy", ALL-Ways will not catch the change and the race will continue to be shown as a turf race. This is easy to correct, although it is a bit of a nuisance. You must manually change the surface to dirt. You do this by going to the Results Module and entering the track code. This will list all the races. Now, simply select the race, change the surface to dirt and click the "SAVE" button. Again, this is only necessary if a race is scheduled for the turf and is later put on the dirt and the dirt track is not listed as "muddy" or "sloppy".
