● ALL-Ways Software and the Windows 7 Operating System

ALL-Ways Software is 100% compatible with the new Windows 7 Operating System

Depending on a number of different Windows 7 situations, such as a new computer versus an upgraded computer, it may be necessary to run the installation setup of ALL-Ways Software in Compatibility Mode. Even if this is the case, everything will be the same when you actually run ALL-Ways. You just run ALL-Ways normally, not in any kind of special mode. ● Migrating from Millennium™ to ALL-Ways™ Software

Bloodstock Research Information Services (BRIS) recently announced that they were shutting down the Thoroughbred Sports Network Web site to focus all of their effort on their industry leading BRISNET Web site.  This means that current users of Millennium Software at TSN will need to migrate over to ALL-Ways Software at BRIS.  Millennium Software and ALL-Ways Software are virtually identical. ●  Write-to-CD ROM may cause a Path/File error message.

A popular way to back up your ALL-Ways files in the Franfile folder, or to transfer the files from one computer to another, is to use a writable CD ROM. However, the CD ROM software often will set the file attributes for such files to "READ ONLY". This causes an error when ALL-Ways tries to update the files. If this happens to you, it is very easy to fix.
